ישׁעיהו 11:1 ויצא חטר מגזע ישׁי ונצר משׁרשׁיו יפרה׃
ישׁעיהו 11:2 ונחה עליו רוח יהוה רוח חכמה ובינה רוח עצה וגבורה רוח דעת ויראת יהוה׃
ישׁעיהו 11:3 והריחו ביראת יהוה ולא־למראה עיניו ישׁפוט ולא־למשׁמע אזניו יוכיח׃
ישׁעיהו 11:4 ושׁפט בצדק דלים והוכיח במישׁור לענוי־ארץ והכה־ארץ בשׁבט פיו וברוח שׂפתיו ימית רשׁע׃
ישׁעיהו 11:5 והיה צדק אזור מתניו והאמונה אזור חלציו׃
ישׁעיהו 11:6 וגר זאב עם־כבשׂ ונמר עם־גדי ירבץ ועגל וכפיר ומריא יחדו ונער קטן נהג בם׃
ישׁעיהו 11:7 ופרה ודב תרעינה יחדו ירבצו ילדיהן ואריה כבקר יאכל־תבן׃
ישׁעיהו 11:8 ושׁעשׁע יונק על־חר פתן ועל מאורת צפעוני גמול ידו הדה׃
ישׁעיהו 11:9 לא־ירעו ולא־ישׁחיתו בכל־הר קדשׁי כי־מלאה הארץ דעה את־יהוה כמים לים מכסים׃
ישׁעיהו 11:10 והיה ביום ההוא שׁרשׁ ישׁי אשׁר עמד לנס עמים אליו גוים ידרשׁו והיתה מנחתו כבוד׃
ישׁעיהו 11:11 והיה ביום ההוא יוסיף אדני שׁנית ידו לקנות את־שׁאר עמו אשׁר ישׁאר מאשׁור וממצרים ומפתרוס ומכושׁ ומעילם
ומשׁנער ומחמת ומאיי הים׃
ישׁעיהו 11:12 ונשׂא נס לגוים ואסף נדחי ישׂראל ונפצות יהודה יקבץ מארבע כנפות הארץ׃
ישׁעיהו 11:13 וסרה קנאת אפרים וצררי יהודה יכרתו אפרים לא־יקנא את־יהודה ויהודה לא־יצר את־אפרים׃
ישׁעיהו 11:14 ועפו בכתף פלשׁתים ימה יחדו יבזו את־בני־קדם אדום ומואב משׁלוח ידם ובני עמון משׁמעתם׃
ישׁעיהו 11:15 והחרים יהוה את לשׁון ים־מצרים והניף ידו על־הנהר בעים רוחו והכהו לשׁבעה נחלים והדריך בנעלים׃
ישׁעיהו 11:16 והיתה מסלה לשׁאר עמו אשׁר ישׁאר מאשׁור כאשׁר היתה לישׂראל ביום עלתו מארץ מצרים׃
Literal translation of the Hebrew:
Yeshayahu 11
1 and there will come a Branch from the root of Yishai's(Jesse's) stem and the Branch will bear fruit from the root
2 and the Spirit of YHVH will rest(settle, remain) upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel(advice) and might(power), the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of YHVH
3 and He will breathe(or smell) in the fear of YHVH and will not look nor judge with His eyes nor will He hear or prove with His ears
4 and He will judge the poor in righteousness and He will prove uprightly(equally, on the level) the humble(meek) of the earth and strike the earth with the staff(rod) of His mouth and in the Spirit of His judgement He will put the wicked to death
5 and there will be righteousness girding(strengthening) His waist and faith girding His strength(vigour)
6 and the wolf will live with the lamb and a tiger will lie down with a goat and a bull calf and a lion cub set off together and a young boy leads them
7 and cow and bear will graze together, their young will lie down and the lion like cattle will eat hay(straw)
8 and delight in suckling(nursing) at an asp's cave(hole) and stretching out the paw(literally hand) on the adder's(viper's) crevice
9 they will not spoil nor corrupt in all of My Holy Mountain because the whole earth shall know YHVH like water covering the sea
10 and it shall be in that day the Root of Yishai(Jesse) Who stood as a miracle to My people(s), Him the tribes(nations, gentiles) will seek and He rested in glory(or His offering was glorious)
11 and it shall be in that day my Lord will add again His hand to obtain(get, procure) the remnant of His people which remain of Asshur(Assyria) and of Mitzraim(Egypt) and of Pathros(region south of Egypt perhaps Eritrea) and of Cush(modern day Ethiopia) and of Eylam(means eternity but was also a son of Shem) and of Shinar(land between two rivers - later named Babylon and Chaldea) and of Khamat(means walled - place in Syria) and of the islands(or coastal regions) of the sea
12 and He shall carry a miracle to the tribes(nations, gentiles) and will gather the outcasts(rejected) of Israel and the scattered(dispersed) of Yehudah, He will gather them from the four wings(corners or extremities) of the earth
13 and remove the jealousy of Ephrayim and the sorrows(tribulations) of Yehudah are cut off, Ephrayim will not envy Yehudah and Yehudah will not make Ephrayim(envy implied)
14 and covering the shoulder(edge) of the Plishtim's(Philistine's) sea together they will take away the sons of the east, Adom(Edom) and Moav(Moab) by their hand and the sons of Ammon's(modern day Jordan) they were disciplined(made to obey)
15 and YHVH split(or blunted or destroyed) the tongue of the sea of Mitzraim(the nile delta of Egypt) and He waved His hand over the river in the might of His Spirit and struck into seven streams and its pathway(direction of flow) was closed up(blocked)
16 and there was a highway(literally rocked road) remnant for His people which remained from Asshur(Assyria) as was there in the day Israel came up out of the earth of Mitzraim(Egypt)
