The KJV is a pretender whilst the original Greek is the Truth.

1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. (wrongly translated KJV) Literally translated from the Greek: 1 Thessalonians 5 22 from all seen(looked at, viewed) evil, refrain(abstain) In other words just as King David wrote: Psa 101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. Literally translated from the Hebrew: Psalm 101 3 I will not place in the sight of my eyes the thing of evil(of belial) to do(practice) idolatry(hatred) I will not put(take) my hand to it
