Because the pharisees hid the truth from the masses and their catholic and other church people who worked with them in their service to satan, the Holy Spirit directed me to translate this one word in the several forms it is used in the original Hebrew! Hebrew is a phonetic language and it is spelled the way it is pronounced and sometimes that means the same word is spelled in several different ways as long as it sounds the same! This one word is no different and the same rule applies. Now for years the deception of this word has been that it should be some kind of musical notation but as we find this word in other parts of the Bible, this lie has been exposed right here as the scriptures which contain the word have been translated literally from the original Hebrew text here! Once again we find satan and his own(the pharisees) worked at hiding the Truth, that Truth is Yeshua and He is prominent in most of the verses that have been translated here from throughout the T'nach(the old testament). הסלע = also translated as the rock or stone but correctly so
הסלה = alternate spelling of the same word for rock with Hebrew being a phonetic language it sounds identical when pronounced

2Kings 14:7 הוא־הכה את־אדום בגיא־המלח עשׂרת אלפים ותפשׂ את־הסלע במלחמה ויקרא את־שׁמה יקתאל עד היום הזה׃
(He struck of Edom in Gai-Hamelach(the valley of salt or salt gorge) ten thousand and he captured the Selah(the rock=Petra) in the war and called its name Yakte'el(obedient to God) until this day)

(and there was a man as though he were taking refuge in the wind and shelter(cover) in a flood like the streams of water in Tzion as the shadow of a heavy rock in a weary earth)
Isaiah 33:16 הוא מרומים ישׁכן מצדות סלעים משׂגבו לחמו נתן מימיו נאמנים׃
(He is from on high, He will dwell in a fortress(stronghold) of rocks, they are His refuge, His bread is given, His waters are faithful.)

(Surely My Word is as a fire says YHVH and as a hammer that smashes a rock)

Jeremiah 49:16 תפלצתך השׁיא אתך זדון לבך שׁכני בחגוי הסלע תפשׂי מרום גבעה כי־תגביה כנשׁר קנך משׁם אורידך נאם־יהוה׃
(your terrible self deception, the arrogance(or pride) of your heart dwells in the refuge of the rock caught on top of a hill because you will lift(raise) it like an eagle(or some bird of prey or vulture) from your nest, from the name of your hand, says YHVH)
Jeremiah 51:25 הנני אליך הר המשׁחית נאם־יהוה המשׁחית את־כל־הארץ ונטיתי את־ידי עליך וגלגלתיך מן־הסלעים ונתתיך להר שׂרפה׃
(see I AM to you a mountain of destruction says YHVH, destroying the whole earth and I will put My hand on you and I will roll you away from the rocks and I will give you to the mountain of Seraph(or to the burning mountain))
Ezekiel 24:7 כי דמה בתוכה היה על־צחיח סלע שׂמתהו לא שׁפכתהו על־הארץ לכסות עליו עפר׃
(because His blood was on the barren rock You did not pour it out upon the earth to cover it with dirt(dust))
Ezekiel 24:8 להעלות חמה לנקם נקם נתתי את־דמה על־צחיח סלע לבלתי הכסות׃
(to the rising heat, to avenge revenge I gave My blood on the barren rock, to cover it)
Ezekiel 26:4 ושׁחתו חמות צר והרסו מגדליה וסחיתי עפרה ממנה ונתתי אותה לצחיח סלע׃
(and I will destroy its cliff walls and destroy its towers and I took away Ofrah and I gave it to barren rock)
Ezekiel 26:14 ונתתיך לצחיח סלע משׁטח חרמים תהיה לא תבנה עוד כי אני יהוה דברתי נאם אדני יהוה׃
(and I gave to you barren rock from the area of utter destruction, you shall not build any more because I, YHVH have commanded(or spoken) it, says my Lord YHVH)
Amos 6:12 הירצון בסלע סוסים אם־יחרושׁ בבקרים כי־הפכתם לראשׁ משׁפט ופרי צדקה ללענה׃
(The running of horses quickly on the road(lit. in rock) whether they be silent in the mornings, then you turn judgement of the head and fruit of righteousness to bitterness(or wormwood))
Obadiah 1:3 זדון לבך השׁיאך שׁכני בחגוי־סלע מרום שׁבתו אמר בלבו מי יורדני ארץ׃
(the arrogance(pride) of your heart deceived you to dwell in the refuge of a rock on high, rest(or sit still) saying in his heart, Who descends to earth?)
