φυλή, φυλας(plural) = tribe, nation, people, clan
This word is derived from another Greek word which is φύλλον = 1) a leaf the plural of which is φύλλα = leaves,
our English word foliage is taken from this Greek word.
έθνη, ἔθνος(plural) = people, nation, tribe, clan
This word is also used for the identical meaning in Greek however the Bible puts them in ever so slight different
categories using this word έθνη to identify those of the tribes, nations who live in disobedience to God and φυλή to identify the obedient.
These words have since had their meanings lost in translation since the corrupt talmudic Jews started using the first
word to describe themselves and the other in a derogatory manner to describe those who were the true obedient ones, the Holy Spirit filled and led followers of Yeshua!
Now the reason Yeshua calls His own the φυλας of Israel is because they are the leaves on His branch and His branches! Yeshua is known as The Branch in Hebrew הנוצרי - HaNotzri. Pilate even wrote this Title of Yeshua on the sign above Him on the cross! (John 19:19 And Pilate also wrote a title and put it above the cross [Gr. stauros — stake]. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.)
The word for ναζωραιος was wrongly translated as meaning Nazarene or Nazarite as someone coming from Nazareth and this was so intended for Yeshua to be separated from the Jews by the false Jews. The Truth behind the word is that ναζωραιος is a Hebraic Greek wording for the Hebrew word נוצרי - Notzri which is the very Title of the Mashiach! He is the Branch! The idolatrous talmudic Jews wanted this Truth hidden at all costs and so they have presided over almost every non Hebrew and Greek translation of God's Word since including the modern Hebrew and Greek even putting in vowel points into the Hebrew language to enable them to change God's Word and writing dictionaries according to the same corruptions! ! The John 19:19 Title that Pilate wrote was exactly according to God's will as it is His Title, הנוצרי - HaNotzri - the Branch. His Title on the cross therefore read that which satan tried to prevent at all costs from being put above Yeshua's head by way of his pharisee servants, those Yeshua calls sons of their father the devil whose descendants now rule this world, these are the false Jews Yeshua speaks of in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9. (ישוע הנוצרי ומלך היהודים) was written on that Title which Pilate wrote and indicated to ALL that Yeshua was God as the Tetragrammaton was right there for them to see in the first letter of each set of words (יהוה)!
Now you can see why they argued so with Pilate! (John 19:20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. 19:21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. ) Of course Pilate being moved by God in this case did not yield to them! (John 19:22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. )
Having now established that we have the Tree of Life who is Yeshua, we the branches(הנוצרים)-(HaNotzrim) are branches in Him and it is we who carry the leaves(φυλας - nations) with Him! (Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.)
The process of sanctification has never been about salvation but was and is always about the refining, the purifying, the making white of those already saved by the grace of God! It is we the called out ones, called out of the nations, tribes, clans, φυλή, we the Ekklesia, the called out ones(εκκλησιαν, ἐκλεκτός) the chosen(εκλογης) from the nations, the tribes of Israel! Remember what I said regarding the nations of this world! All are descended from the tribes of Israel as all previous non-Israelite peoples mentioned in God's Word were wiped out at His command after that He had chosen to glorify His Name through them. Only one group have isolated themselves from God's promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(Israel) by spreading this lie, that your Jewishness comes through the mother, this has effectively bred themselves out of God's promise and out of their inheritance spurning it just as Esav(Esau) did by selling his birthright for a bowl of soup! These are no longer in God's Tree of Life and they have ensured it for themselves! They stand defeated just as their master, the destroyer, satan.
The time is at hand that Yeshua HaNotzri will come to call His Notzrim and as according to His order described in His Word will with One Trumpet blast call up the Notzrim for a meeting in the clouds! (Numbers 10:4 And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee. ) It shall not be until after the time of Jacob's trouble, the time of God's Wrath will come to put an end to God's enemies and in that day all who will call on the Name of Yeshua shall be saved! By the blast of the second and last trumpet they will be gathered unto Yeshua in the clouds as well! (Num 10:2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. 10:3 And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. )
Time is short people! If you wish to be among the chosen you need to be prepared, made white, sanctified, purified! To become so can only be achieved by the work of the Holy Spirit with your complete surrender to Yeshua in ALL things and you need to ask Him to get you to that place! Remember, that those who ask, receive if received in faith!

If you hear Yeshua calling you today, DO NOT hesitate! Follow Him in Truth and by His Spirit! Live a life of obedience and be among the Ekklesia! Wake up people of God!
Just to add as an addendum: the word gentile comes directly out of the Latin and it means Family so keep in mind we the tribes of the Earth are all family, we all belong to the family of Israel which is the family of God, we are all brothers and sisters in Him. Without of course the exceptions I mentioned above! Yet even for them redemption is available as Yeshua says, (Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.)
