Dispelling another common myth regarding the Jews.

You've no doubt often heard it said that all of Yeshua's first followers were all Jews and that the first Ekklesias were all Jews. Nothing could be further from the truth as the scriptures clearly teach us. Let us look at what the Word of God says.

In 2 Kings we read, 2Ki 18:11  And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:

Now you would think that it spoke of the entire Israel but there are other scriptures which highlight exactly who of Israel were taken. Not only that but a call went out to all of Israel as well as Judah by King Hezekiah,

2Ch 30:1  And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.

Many of the people called out to mocked Hezekiah but many also answered his call and these dwelt in Judah from then on until 70AD and then some still staid in the land of Judah after that.

2Ch 30:10  So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Menashe even unto

Zevulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

2Ch 30:11  Nevertheless divers of Asher and Menashe and of Zevulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.

Now we also know from scripture that only 10 of the twelve tribes were exiled and so we also know Judah was not alone, Benjamin also remained in the land. The apostle Paul himself lets us all know exactly that he is not a Jew but a Benjaminite(Philipians 3:5)! We of course know that the Levites were spread among the tribes of Israel and so also among Yehudah(Judah) giving us three tribes already plus the three mentioned above that answered Hezekiah's call. Now let's look at others Yeshua chose to be His apostles! In Luke 5 we read the Lord

chose His first 3 apostles that we can read about here(Luk 5:10  And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. ), Shimon(Simon) whom He later named Selah(Hebrew for rock or Cephas in Aramaic), his brother Andrai(Andrew) was there at the boats when the Lord called them as we can read from Matthew 4:18 and Mark 1:16. Now we also know this from 2 Ch30:11 some of Zevulun remained and as they were in the land of

Galilee they were most likely of the tribe of Zevulun as they are the boat people, the fishermen in Israel. So the first four were two sets of brothers and all were fishermen. Read Matthew 4:18-22. Now what of the rest of the apostles, never mind the other disciples yet. Simon the Canaanite was not even of the tribes of Israel never mind Jewish. Nathanael exclaimed these things regarding Yeshua, Joh 1:47  Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and

saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Joh 1:48  Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

Joh 1:49  Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. Why do I say that, you wonder? Perhaps because a Jew would have called Yeshua the King of the Jews as most of the Jews did who believed in Him. This is not concrete evidence I grant you but there are definitely more Israelites among the followers of Yeshua in the first group that followed Him. The majority of the Jews had rejected Him and that is what had to happen, as the first are last and the last are first. Notice I mentioned

Nathanael even though he was not mentioned among the apostles Yeshua chose! He was still among those He had called at the first together with Philip and he was called an Israelite indeed. He was most definitely among His disciples at the first. He came from the same town as Shimon Selah(Simon Peter) and Andrai(Andrew) and these guys had all been seeking out who could be the Messiah because they knew according to the scriptures to expect Him in their day. In the book of Daniel are given the dates which gave them the exact time to expect

Him. I write these things only to dispel yet more lies that come from certain sources that have infiltrated the believers around the world and make people revere Jews because they are of Yeshua's tribe but the fact is they rejected Him and so Yeshua sent the promise throughout Israel, to what the deceiving translators like to call the gentiles(gentile is the Latin word for family) instead of just translating it as they should have and said the other tribes. The Jews will not accept Him until He returns and that is when we will rejoice but they will mourn. Until

that day they must suffer persecution and punishment of God for their vile idolatries. We need to keep bringing the truth of God's Word to the Jews, the actual Jews that is so that there will be no excuse on the Day of the Lord. Do not mistake them for those who claim to be Jews that currently rule this world as those are what Yeshua has called the false Jews(Rev 2:9 and 3:9), these false Jews are the descendants of the Pharisees(Farasim in Hebrew meaning the Persian ones) God please open their eyes and prepare their hearts to receive You.
