Literal translation of the Hebrew:
Shemot(Exodus) 20
1 and God spoke saying, all these things are to be spoken(said, told)
2 I AM YHVH your God Who took you from the earth of Mitzrayim(Egypt)
3 You shall not take to yourself other gods before Me(lit. before My Face or Presence)
4 You shall not make for yourselves carvings(engravings or hewn from wood stone or whatever made by hand) nor anything which is from faith(anything or creature you put your faith in) which is in the heavens above nor which is in the earth below nor which is in the waters below the earth
5 You shall not bow down(prostrate yourself) to them nor serve them(worship them) because I, YHVH your God am a jealous God inspecting(visiting, checking, charging) evil fathers about their sons over thirty and over forty(lit. fourth parts or quarters) to change(or can mean: who hate Me)
6 and bestowing(granting) grace(mercy) to thousands for My love and for keeping My commandments
7 You shall not bear the Name of YHVH your God in vain(or to no avail), for YHVH will not sanctify(or purify or cleanse) he who bears His Name in vain
8 Mark(or remember, take note of) the Day of His return(or the Shabbat) to sanctify it
9 Six days you will serve and do all your work
10 and on the seventh day you shall return to(or rest in) YHVH your God, do not do any of your work(or go about your own ways), you and your son and your daughter, your servant, your maids and your animals and your guest(or foreigner, stranger) who is in your city(or town)
11 for in six days YHVH made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them and He rested on the seventh day, therefore He blessed the Day of His return(or the day of the resurrection or the Shabbat day) and He sanctified it
12 Respect(lit. heavy, weighty or burdensome) your father and your mother so that your days will lengthen on the ground which YHVH your God has given to you
13 You shall not kill
14 You shall not commit adultery(or fornicate or prostitute as these amount to committing adultery)
15 You shall not steal(thieve)
16 You shall not bear false witness(you shall not lie)
17 You shall not covet(lust after or desire) your neighbour's house nor their wives nor their maids nor their servants nor anything of all that is of your neighbour
18 and all the people perceived the voice(or thunder) and the shining(of light) and the sound of the shofar(trumpet) and the mountain was smoking and the people saw and moved and they stood at a distance
19 and they said to Moshe, "speak to us and we will listen and God shall not speak to us, else we die!"
20 and Moshe said to the people, "do not be afraid and do not flee, God came and His fear shall be on your faces for you to not sin".
21 and the people stood at a distance and Moshe went into the mist(or fog) where God is there
22 and YHVH said unto Moshe, "speak unto the sons of Israel, to you like this, you've seen that from the heavens I spoke with you"
23 you shall not make me gods of silver and gods of gold, do not make them for you(rselves either implied)
24 an altar of ground(dirt) shall be Mine and you have sacrificed your burnt offering and your peace offering and your flock and your herd in all places in which I will mention(or remind you of) My Name, I will come to you and bless you
25 and if an altar of stone is made for Me, you will not build them of hewn stone for your sword was lifted up on it and desecrated(defiled) it
26 and you shall not go up(ascend) to My high altar that you shall not reveal your ignorance about Him

שׁמות 20:1 וידבר אלהים את כל־הדברים האלה לאמר׃
שׁמות 20:2 אנכי יהוה אלהיך אשׁר הוצאתיך מארץ מצרים מבית עבדים׃
שׁמות 20:3 לא יהיה־לך אלהים אחרים על־פני׃
שׁמות 20:4 לא תעשׂה־לך פסל וכל־תמונה אשׁר בשׁמים ממעל ואשׁר בארץ מתחת ואשׁר במים מתחת לארץ׃
שׁמות 20:5 לא־תשׁתחוה להם ולא תעבדם כי אנכי יהוה אלהיך אל קנא פקד עון אבת על־בנים על־שׁלשׁים ועל־רבעים לשׂנאי׃
שׁמות 20:6 ועשׂה חסד לאלפים לאהבי ולשׁמרי מצותי׃
שׁמות 20:7 לא תשׂא את־שׁם־יהוה אלהיך לשׁוא כי לא ינקה יהוה את אשׁר־ישׂא את־שׁמו לשׁוא׃
שׁמות 20:8 זכור את־יום השׁבת לקדשׁו׃
שׁמות 20:9 שׁשׁת ימים תעבד ועשׂית כל־מלאכתך׃
שׁמות 20:10 ויום השׁביעי שׁבת ליהוה אלהיך לא־תעשׂה כל־מלאכה אתה ובנך־ובתך עבדך ואמתך ובהמתך וגרך אשׁר בשׁעריך׃
שׁמות 20:11 כי שׁשׁת־ימים עשׂה יהוה את־השׁמים ואת־הארץ את־הים ואת־כל־אשׁר־בם וינח ביום השׁביעי על־כן ברך יהוה את־יום
השׁבת ויקדשׁהו׃
שׁמות 20:12 כבד את־אביך ואת־אמך למען יארכון ימיך על האדמה אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך׃
שׁמות 20:13 לא תרצח׃
שׁמות 20:14 לא תנאף׃
שׁמות 20:15 לא תגנב׃
שׁמות 20:16 לא־תענה ברעך עד שׁקר׃
שׁמות 20:17 לא תחמד בית רעך לא־תחמד אשׁת רעך ועבדו ואמתו ושׁורו וחמרו וכל אשׁר לרעך׃
שׁמות 20:18 וכל־העם ראים את־הקולת ואת־הלפידם ואת קול השׁפר ואת־ההר עשׁן וירא העם וינעו ויעמדו מרחק׃
שׁמות 20:19 ויאמרו אל־משׁה דבר־אתה עמנו ונשׁמעה ואל־ידבר עמנו אלהים פן־נמות׃
שׁמות 20:20 ויאמר משׁה אל־העם אל־תיראו כי לבעבור נסות אתכם בא האלהים ובעבור תהיה יראתו על־פניכם לבלתי תחטאו׃
שׁמות 20:21 ויעמד העם מרחק ומשׁה נגשׁ אל־הערפל אשׁר־שׁם האלהים׃
שׁמות 20:22 ויאמר יהוה אל־משׁה כה תאמר אל־בני ישׂראל אתם ראיתם כי מן־השׁמים דברתי עמכם׃
שׁמות 20:23 לא תעשׂון אתי אלהי כסף ואלהי זהב לא תעשׂו לכם׃
שׁמות 20:24 מזבח אדמה תעשׂה־לי וזבחת עליו את־עלתיך ואת־שׁלמיך את־צאנך ואת־בקרך בכל־המקום אשׁר אזכיר את־שׁמי אבוא
אליך וברכתיך׃
שׁמות 20:25 ואם־מזבח אבנים תעשׂה־לי לא־תבנה אתהן גזית כי חרבך הנפת עליה ותחללה׃
שׁמות 20:26 ולא־תעלה במעלת על־מזבחי אשׁר לא־תגלה ערותך עליו׃
